ISTD 09: Type Factory
Promotional booklet for a new typographical museum and gallery based in London.
My idea is based around a ‘factory’ theme and the workers being the typographers within the museum. It is broken into easy to digest sections for the visitors, so that they can learn information easily, quickly finding what they need when navigating through.
On the front of the booklet is a clocking in and out card which gives people a quick introduction into what events will be happening within the Type Factory. There is also a section where they can fill their names in, so they feel part of the experience.
Using clocking in and out cards within my booklet for the different typographers to give an element of interactivity with visitors, so they can learn more about the typographers who designed some of the typefaces shown inside the Type Factory.
A new range of tea packaging aimed at the student audience. The three types of tea are Assam, Ceylon Green and Darjeeling. Each one is for a different time of the day; to either wake you up, uplift you during the day or help you unwind before you go to sleep.
Based around the simplicity of the i-pod and reflects on the connection students have to music.
