D&AD - Crisis - Direct mail
Brief - Create an innovative piece of direct mail for the homeless charity Crisis. My solution was to reveal hidden homelessness by utilising the link between black bin bags and being thrown out on the street. The direct mail is disguised as free bin bags, so that they can pass undetected into the home revealing a hidden message when used. Promoting awareness from welcome mat back to the street.
Radiowave - Student radio identity
Brief – Create an exciting, vibrant brand identity for University College Falmouth’s student radio station Radiowave. My solution was to create a logo that moved away from the more obvious interpretations of waves, and made reference to the digital nature of the station, while creating a stand-alone logo that felt comfortable alongside UCF’s institutional logo.
RSA - Stamps
Brief – Create a set of six stamps that promote awareness of alternative energy from renewable sources and the role of energy conservation in reducing the consumption of existing resources. My solution focused on the unnecessary energy wastage caused by the standby function on most electronic products. The stamps were designed to promote energy conservation by fully turning devices off at the plug as a step, towards the reduction of the energy gap between renewable and non-renewable energy sources.
