Sushi is very popular so I decided to create a Sushi kit with basic ingredients including a recipe booklet. The pack also acts as advertising for the brand that makes the Sushi ingredients. In creating the name for the identity I decided you can’t call it anything except sushi. Then I thought its Sushi! The name and the typographic treatment grew from that thought. The design reflects the graphic nature of Japanese imagery. Influenced by origami the package looks like a gift; Japanese guests always bring beautifully wrapped gifts.
